Bluffton Community Kitchen Continues Seasonal Fundraiser: “Providing Hope and Dignity”

The Bluffton Community Kitchen (BCK) announces its Providing Hope and Dignity fundraiser which will run through the end of the year.

Constance Martin-Witter, BCK’s Executive Director stated, “We have seen a tremendous growth of individuals who rely on the Bluffton Community Kitchen, going from 12,000 hot meals served in 2020 to an expected 50,000 meals served this year. This growth along with higher food costs has put tremendous pressure on our budget, which is currently experiencing a $55,000 shortfall.

To jumpstart the Providing Hope and Dignity campaign, The Palmetto Electric Trust through their Operation Round-Up program is generously providing a $15,000 matching grant.

Constance added, “Bluffton Community Kitchen is committed to providing a helping hand to all those in need, but we can only accomplish this through the generosity of caring individuals within our community. We are hoping you will join us by making a donation today so that we can continue to serve all of those in need in Beaufort and Jasper counties,” Click here to donate.
